WHY?
OK, so I realize that I am late on this but whatever...
I have been watching classic Star Trek lately on TV and honestly I thought I was hallucinating when any visual FXs came on screen. Was I crazy or were the original scenes replaced with CGI? Well, I'm not crazy but the dick heads who thought this was a good idea are. Didn't we learn anything from George Lucas? Not to mention, what a slap in the face to the amazing talents that created the original models and effects back in the 60s! Way to shit on a legacy!
Oh, and the original stuff still looks better!

THE YEAR IN MUSIC (sales) 2010!! or DON'T QUIT YOUR DAY JOB!
CD sales in the U.S. dropped by 20 percent, and music sales in general fell 12.8 percent compared to the already-not-good 2009 totals.
326.2 million albums sold in 2010 was the lowest total since Nielsen SoundScan began keeping tabs on sales in 1991. Only 13 albums managed to attain million-selling platinum distinction, compared to the 22 platinum albums that earned it in 2009, of those 13 platinum albums in 2010, only four sold over 2 million copies.
Catalog album sales plummeted 15.3 percent in 2010.

Write some new songs- YES, though not as many as I would have liked.
Release some new songs- NO, but most certainly in 2011!!
Go on tour- YES!
Finish a couple screenplays- NOPE, but I did start a new one!!
Sell a screenplay - No.
Write a comic book - No
Get a certain idea I have been working on for years on TV - YES!! This is a big one!! MTV picked up DEATH VALLEY for 12 episodes! Coming in 2011!
Try acting - No.
Direct a movie - No.
Go to the gym - Ha!
OK, so not that bad. After all I did accomplish the biggest goal which was to get DEATH VALLEY going! and POWERMAN 5000 had a great year of shows. So I'm happy!
Guess I will just bump the other unaccomplished stuff to my 2011 list plus a few more crazy schemes!
